PRSC-HS1

Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO), the national space agency of Pakistan has successfully launched its first Hyperspectral (HS-1) Satellite from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Centre, China. This remarkable milestone marks a giant leap forward in Pakistan's journey toward self-reliance and technological excellence in space exploration.

The satellite will join the fleet of already in-orbit remote sensing satellites of Pakistan i.e. PRSS-1, PakTES-1A, PRSC-EO1 and PRSC-S1. The launch of PRSC-HS1 marked a pivotal advancement in Pakistan's space technology journey, empowering the nation with advanced capabilities to monitor and manage natural resources, anticipate and respond to natural disasters, strengthen food security, and foster economic growth through data-driven decision-making and sustainable development.
