Pre-requisites	Basic understanding of GIS and some computer experience
Objectives	The course is aimed to provide basic concepts of GIS with extensive hands on experience on ArcGIS platform. It will cover a wide range of tools available through a single platform, ranging from desktop mapping to spatial analysis. It will navigate through the three basic ArcGIS interfaces including ArcCatalog, ArcMap and Arc Toolbox. Additionally, the training will also cover ArcReader, ArcPublisher, ArcScene and ArcGlobe for reading, displaying, 3D modeling of geographical data and access to global views of the earth.
