Pre-requisites	Basic understanding of Forestry, GIS, Remote Sensing and computer experience
Objectives	The course aims to provide the basic understanding of GIS and Remote and their applications in Forestry. The course progresses from digital image interpretation to the identification of vegetated sites, followed by techniques to quantify selected Forest parameters. It will navigate through GIS as well as Remote Sensing software packages to achieve the objectives.
