Inter-Programme Coordination Team on Space Weather (ICTSW)

 

Inter-Programme Coordination Team on Space Weather (ICTSW) is a coordinating mechanism between International Space Environment Service (ISES) and World Meteorological Organisation (WMO). ICTSW was formed with the objective of facilitating, in partnership with ISES and other organizations, the international coordination of space weather observations, data, products, and services, building on the respective assets of ISES and of WMO.

Currently 19 countries – Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Ethiopia, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Pakistan, Rep. Korea, Russian Federation, South Africa, Switzerland, Thailand, United Kingdom, USA, and seven international organizations - ESA, ISES, EU/JRC, ICAO, ITU, OOSA, WMO are part of the team.

SUPARCO’s involvement with ICTSW will help the organisation acquire up-to-date space weather data, products and services and opportunity to interact with international Space Weather community for development of new projects/services.
