The UN COPUOS deals with all matters related to the development of peaceful uses of outer space and has a current membership of 67 States. Pakistan has the honour of becoming its
member in 1974 when its membership was 28. It has two Sub-Committees namely: Scientific and Technical Sub-Committee and the Legal Sub-Committee. SUPARCO's senior scientists, represent Pakistan in
COPUOS as well as its Sub-Committees. |
